Kicked out of his swanky Malibu home by his wife, a famed novelist (Campbell Scott) finds a place to stay thanks to a pair of sexy students (Izabella Miko, Lizzy Caplan) who offer up their sofa. While Scott finds the sexual tension that blossoms with both of his new roommates the perfect cure for his writer's block, the girls use his knowledge and stature to further their own literary aspirations.
